ICR-2412

The ICR-2412 industrial router has been designed as a simple device for communication using LTE 450 technology. It is a frequency widely used in Europe for critical communication in the energy sector.

ICR-2412 is the ideal gateway for global IoT applications because of the large number of cellular frequency bands supported. Among others, the router supports also the European
LTE 450 MHz spectrum (bands B31 and B72) that is a key frequency for wireless communication in critical infrastructure e.g. in Energy distribution.

The router is equipped with 2 independently configurable Ethernet ports (LAN or WAN), one RS-232 port, one RS-485 port and 1 digital input and 1 digital output. Data tunneling via VPN may be responsible for the security of data transfer. In case of problems, the option of extensive diagnostics turns out to be helpful, including automatic monitoring of wireless / wired connections, automatic restarts when connection is lost and a hardware watchdog that watches over the device's operating status.

The open Linux platform means that the user does not rely only on the software prepared by the manufacturer, but can also build applications based on Pythonc, C or C ++. In addition, the routers of this series support the installation of already written extensions that enrich the device with support for additional protocols and better interface management.
