RCM 202-AB

Differential current monitoring

The RCM 202-AB allows continuous monitoring of TN-S networks and complies with DIN EN 62020/VDE 0663/IEC 62020. This applies to differential current monitoring devices that check circuits for differential current and trigger an alarm if the alarm value is exceeded. The two-channel differential current monitoring device is suitable for monitoring type A to type B+ differential currents.

The Janitz RCM 201-ROGO can be used for compliant Type A measurement on DIN rails.

The RCM 202-AB is typically used in low-voltage main distribution boards (LVMDB) and subdistribution panels (SDP) in grounded systems such as TN-S networks. The RCM 202-AB provides a safe alternative for many industries, especially when power outages cannot be tolerated due to a residual current device (RCD) or insulation resistance measurement. The device can be fully integrated with GridVis® software and can be integrated directly via an RS-485 interface.
