Compact DC / AC converter MEAN WELL NTS-250p with a rated power of 250W and real sine wave (true sine, THD> 3%) offers the user a configurable output voltage with values: 200/220/230 / 240VAC for models NTS-250p-212, NTS-250p-224, NTS-250p-248. The selection of the output voltage and frequency is easy with the use of a switch on the housing. The device can be powered by 12/24 / 48V DC with current values respectively: 25/13 / 7A. The converter works with both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries.
The device is protected against excessive temperature, short-circuit and overcurrent. In order to minimize the risk of excessive battery discharge, the NTS-250p converter is equipped with an alarm. After the alarm is triggered and the voltage drops further, the device turns off, protecting the battery.
It is also possible to temporarily overload the converter: 287.5W (3 min.), 375W (10 s), 500W (0.6 s). This functionality allows you to connect a device with a higher inrush current (e.g. electric tools). The MEAN WELL NTS-250p converter can be used wherever there is no access to the power grid, e.g.
- Use in off-grid panels in home systems.
- For example, on a plot, a summer house
- Use with caravans and yachts to convert energy from batteries
- Application on construction sites: e.g. for battery operation of floodlights or electric tools
- Backup power, e.g. emergency lighting, small motors
