Servo is a motion control system consisting of a servo motor, a servo controller and an encoder used as a closed-loop feedback element. They are used in many industrial automation solutions, i.e. production lines or machines. Servo drives are used to carry out precise control of rotational or, less often, linear motion.

New solution - Elmatic Servos are a cheap and reliable solution that perfectly fits the needs of the industry. Pulse control or EtherCAT in combination with a 23 bit encoder allows dynamic movements and high precision to be achieved.

Advantages of using Elmatic servo
• 23 bit encoder with a resolution of 8 380 000 p / r, can save up to 65,536 revolutions in the absolute position,
• The built-in vibration damping function allows to limit unfavorable vibrations in the system, which translates into improved accuracy,
• The use of the fast EtherCAT protocol allows to achieve a much better representation of the motion path, thanks to the high sampling rate and fast response time, even from 125 us,
• Fast response thanks to the speed loop frequency of 1.3 kHz,
• EtherCAT bus can simultaneously handle up to 100 axes within 1 ms,
• EMM servo motors are constructed in accordance with the IP65 standard,
• Built-in braking resistor

Unitronics servos are an easy-to-configure and trouble-free programming line of Unitronics AC Servo servo drives and servo motors. It has a surprisingly simple approach that allows users to easily implement motion control through pre-built Motion code, built-in diagnostic tools and automatic communication configuration.

Advantages of using Unitronics servo
• No programming required: the Ready-Made Motion code, provided with every purchase, enables Unitronics customers to test the complete system; this code can be opened and adapted to other applications using standard PLC functions,
• One software for everything: configuration and programming of PLC and HMI, servo drives, VFD inverters and I / O - all in one software tool to build an application with up to 8 axes,
• Automatic communication configuration,
• Minimization of making mistakes: UniLogic software automatically analyzes the mechanical properties and recommends safe values ​​for the user's application,
• Diagnostics: UniLogic includes a built-in, fast diagnostic tool to check servo performance during motion,
• Tune the system using only one single parameter,
• Built-in diagnostic tools not requiring a PC via an HMI panel or virtual HMI screen on a mobile device where users can set motion parameters, monitor axis behavior and I / O, perform movements such as Point-to-Point, Jog and Homing.

Unitronics solutions include all the elements necessary for precise motion control: PLC controllers, HMI panels, VFD inverters, I / O, as well as extensive communication support, including Industry 4.0, and now also AC servo.
